2010 Nascar Pools Online/Nascar Ranting & Raving Pool
Free Nascar Pool!!!!
NascarPoolsOnline.com has teamed up with the Nascar Ranting & Raving blog to once again offer a FREE Nascar Pool for the 2010 season.
What is Nascar Ranting & Raving?
Nascar Ranting & Raving is the Nascar blog on SportsBlogs Nation. The Rant actually started as a weekly recap of the Nascar Pool 4ever3 was managing at the time. I've been a regular reader and enjoying Bob's slant on the world of Nascar for a couple years now. The blog has recently added a number of contributors, and is updated almost daily.
League Info
Thanks to all for participating last season! Mike Maruska won the top prize, randomly selected of the teams finishing in a 5 way tie for first place. Congrats Mike!
- This season begins with the Daytona 500 on February 14, 2010. The deadline will be February 14, 2010 at 12pm (noon) Eastern. The season will run through the Ford 400 at Miami-Homestead on November 21, 2010.
- The league will be a 'pick'em all' style pool, using the drivers for scoring. It doesn't matter what car he/she is in, it's the driver that matters. You get to pick any 7 drivers for each race. There is no limitation on who you can pick, or how many times you can pick them.
- We will use the 'standard' scoring method (which follows the Sprint Cup Championship points), and will apply penalties to the scores.
- You can join the pool by registering an account (or using your existing one) and joining the league by selecting 'join league' from the menu at the top. Submit the league ID (freepool) and the password (npo2010), and then pick your team. You will be given default drivers for each race, and be able to modify them race to race.
Rules
Please read the contest rules. Note: You can still participate if you are ineligible for a prize, but obviously you wont be awarded any prizing.
